The designer of Northtown masterplanned township project, Urban Planner and world renowed Filipino architect Jun Palafox Jr. made a rare visit to the open house activity last March 21 and shared some insights on why this Alsons Properties’ development is a valuable investment (see below the video clip – sorry for the poor audio).

He shared that originally the plan is environment in mind as the foremost consideration. While Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB) allows developers to make 70% saleable  of the total area they develop, Northtown came up to be 48% saleable and 52% open space as the planners prioritized safety in environment as it will be 90% cheaper to address the natural hazards in architecture, planning and engineering. He stressed out that the project is 81 meters above sea level and all the world’s best practices of urban, environmental planning and housing development where put into place here.

Alsons Properties had put a great deal of planning and resources in balancing development and environment with this project giving investors the assurance of continuous value creation.  Starting from around 7,000 pesos per square meter on Phase 1, now the lot price is around 12,000 to 12,900 per square meter from a year of its launching, Phase 2 was just opened in the market last February 2015.

Network of amenities – The Club, The Cabaña, and The Parks

The Cabantian entrance of the of the project is adjacent to the proposed 10 hectare town (commercial) center and the government support facilities like 911, Fire and Police Stations.  The government support facilities was donated by Alsons Properties to the city government and will include an ambulance to complement with the masterplan township.
